Second time a charm

These are nice lightweight hiking shoes. The upper is a thin breathable mesh fabric. Very breathable to keep your feet cool in hot weather, but no weather resistance. Sole is thicker and more supportive than running shoes. I thought that Dunham was made by New Balance, but sizing on these shoes feels larger than New Balance, in both width and length. Maybe that is to fit heavy hiking socks instead of lightweight running socks.

Very narrow, but nice.

I use this shoe STRICTLY for playing drums so I won't be wearing them for hours. Well, if I play for hours yes, but I won't be using them to go to the stores, or around the town. I do have a wide foot, and they do stretch outward, but the tip remains narrow and it looks funny. Sort of like a shark if you look top down. But, the sole is thin and I'm able to feel the pedal much better. I owned an older model for many, many years and when they finally wore out, I opted to by another pair. I like these, they have a nice lining inside and make the shoe very comfortable. If you have a wide foot, be warned

) won't hold up to heavy use but nice for a semi caudal work shoe.

Fit great vary convertible for walking

They fit a bit large, and the ankle area is sort of floppy? What I mean is, even when fully fastened, the ankle opening is too large, and is wide open for foreign material entry - not good in the mud.

I'm trying to walk an hour after dinner every night. I bought these to replace my dr scholls walking shoes. I think these shoes make me walk a little faster! They also make me stand up straight!

Not the best pair of Voltaics. These were not comfortable at all compared to all my other voltaics, but not too bad overall.
