I wanted to get a pair of old school Tigers for some time....like since the mid '70s. I was always leaning towards Mexico 66s, but I have to walk on cobblestones quite a lot and could see that they just wouldn't work for that. I then found out about the Corsair... I thought they were a ripoff of the Nike Cortez, but the Tigers were designed first in '69 when the Nike founders were working with Onitsuka Tiger, before they started their own company and split the sheets, taking the Cortez name.
Anyway, these are really comfortable and look terrific. I never see these out on the street. I did have to go up a 1/2 size because my feet are a little wide and these are a bit narrow.

Very nice shoes for everyday use. Comfy, good looking and take quite a beating. Have had similar Sketchers previously, but like the finish of these better. They seem to be less prone to skuffing etc. Fit as expected.

Loved my Vans in the 80's. They are still the best fitting, best built, most comfortable casual canvas shoes made. The size was spot on.
