these are very good for skating indeed, specially for freeriding, standing more than 5 hours without walking enough can be painful, in particular if you have flat foot like mine.
Other than that the shoes are fresh, breathable and provide great support for skating and moving, the front is loose while the back (heel) is tight. the shoes are flexible.
I am using them daily, i will come back with comments on durability

These shoes are a tight fit, but not too small so it ended up working well for me. The sole is well padded comfortable, my feet are never sore from walking or running. I personally find them stylish with the way the logos and highlights are designed. Just remember they do run a bit tight so keep that in mind if you have very wide feet.

Saw some reviews about how these shoes get dirty. Are you serious? These are running shoes, of course they'll get dirty.

I’ve had twice as expensive but love Sketchers and so does my husband.
Good looking and has a bit of pizazz so wearing it for a casual diner in a nice place is perfectly fine!
Husband is usually a solid 13. He says a slightly thicker sock would tighten it up for him.
Personally, I think he just has to tie his shoes better! ; )

I first bought the canvas version, and the leather version took a small amount of breaking in over the toe box, but they're quite comfortable, and fun to wear. A little bit more arch support would be welcome, but for the type of shoe they're fine. My only other comment is the length seems to be a bit longer than my usual 12/46 such that in the future I would purchase an 11-1/2 if they made it.
