I wanted something like high-top converse. These are ok, but I am still not sure about size. They have a really stiff feel and probably need to be a bit wider. However, let's give them a chance. After some wear...maybe the fit will improve. I'm willing to experiment a bit. I might invest in an "insert"...I use those with converse as well, as they don't have the best arch support as a rule.

Order half size down as I took other reviewers’ advice to size down. I’m originally size 8 and sized it down to 7 1/2. Perfect fit, many slip on canvas don’t fit me because my feet are narrow and won’t fit in 100%. It’s pretty comfortable, I have flat feet and it doesn’t hurt my feet even though it doesn’t have arch supports inside. You can add arch support inserts for extra support. I would buy again in different colors!

I have purchased Skechers previously and wear my regular size. These ran large for some reason and were returned. Nice shoes.

I'm a typical 6.5 and that's what I ordered. I sometimes can wear a 7 or 6 depending on the brand, but I think these are true to size. My foot is slightly wide, but these shoes were able to accommodate them. The length has just enough room at the tip so that my big toe doesn't hit the end of the shoe when I'm standing, but my toes are really round and my big toe nails kinda shows at the top a bit. I'm thinking about putting some moleskin inside the top so that my big toes won't make a hole too soon. These are very comfortable right out of the box and I wore them to the beach. I'll be wearing these a lot!

I like the soft flexible "top" so I can wear a band aide comfortably.

They are nice! They are so so pretty and look better than I expected. The other reviews were NOT kidding about the quality though, very stiff and poorly made. Just make sure you aren't wanting these to wear super often because I have a feeling they won't be lasting very long! I got them to wear once a week for an event at my job.

I LOVE these shoes and have received many compliments on them. I purchased them for weightlifting since I was looking for a flat bottomed shoe that would provide the most contact with the ground when performing heavy lifts. I can rely on these shoes for just that, they look great, priced well, and are super comfortable! I have to stop myself from wearing them everywhere because I want to keep them looking fresh. I've done some cardio in them in a pinch when doing circuits at the gym (nothing more than a mile and a half) and they work just fine. I wouldn't recommend them for long runs of course but if you're doing the stairclimber or elliptical, these will do!
Never had any rubbing, blisters, or aches in these for gym purposes or walking most of the day. Highly recommended!
