Very comfortable shoes. They seem to get more comfortable each time you wear them. Only issue is that you will need socks that cover your heel as the back of the shoe will rub it raw.

Honestly. . . These shoes are super ugly. Having said that. . . . I quite like them. Hahahaha
They are very lightweight. I have the size 8 and they weigh 6oz. There is really nice padding inside. There’s also arch support. They easily slip-on, as there is so much stretch to the fabric. I like the tag on the back to help pull then on. Very breathable.
The sold is anti-skid. It’s plastic. I have some other shoes with what I believe to be a similar sole. I thought that they would wear-down quickly. . . but. . . that’s not been the case.
These shoes are Made in India. They look and feel cheap. . . but. . . I can’t get past the comfort part. Ever if they don’t last all that long. . . I’ll enjoy them while I can.

I love Keds Kickstart sneakers. This is my third pair. These run very true to size. I measure 5.5 and on the upper end of a medium width. I usually size up to a 6 in all my shoes, and I did this with my first two pairs. That was a mistake. Even though I wear no-show cotton socks with these, the 5.5 is perfect. If you wear your sneakers barefoot, definitely do not size up!
If the kickstart feels narrow to you, pull the laces out completely, gently stretch them open, put them on you feet, stand up in them, THEN loosely lace them. Within a week, they will start to stretch, and you’ll need to tighten the laces all the way down.
I really like the black slub satin. There’s a subtle sheen to the satin, and the plush velvet laces are just the right touch.

I initially bought these for a trip involving long walks over hilly, cobblestone streets. They held up very well (and thanks to these shoes, so did I). There was very little evidence of wear, and they are still in great condition. I will continue to wear them as good casual walking shoes. I indicated that the shoes fit "as expected," but I should add that I usually wore them with heavy socks. Had I been wearing thin socks, I would consider them "somewhat wide," but still a good, comfortable shoe.
