I’ve only worn these a couple of times, just for walking. So far they fit well and seem of good quality. Time will tell later, on that aspect.
I ordered wide, and they seem true to size. No pinching. I replaced the insole with a Spenco orthotic, since I need the support.

I’m a nurse and I bought these and found them to be the most comfortable shoes I have ever worked in. I also love that they are not big clown shoes so they go great with jeans. I bought theses for my daughter whom is a teacher for Christmas and she loves them.

This shoe should be perfect for an upcoming trip that will combine extensive walking with frequent shoe removals at religious sites. I have always been a great fan of the support in Taos shoes and particularly like the deeper platform padding that this shoe features. The dark, almost-black charcoal color is quite attractive. I might have preferred a leather shoe for the specific trip location and dates, but picked the deeper platform which wasn't available in leather models. I tried this in 8 and 8.5, choosing the shorter shoe because of a better arch fit. The toe box is sufficiently wide and seems to loosen as I wear it around the house, but it is a little more shallow that I would like at the big toe - sure hope that relaxes a bit, too. There is some heel slip, but the elastic gores and padded upper edge help somewhat with that issue. Like the pull tab at the back of the heel. I tried several other brands in similar size but picked my reliable favorite Taos.
